Do you Live in a Modality of Fair Exchange?

Build mutually beneficial relationships with as many people as possible and always strive to ensure that there is a level of fair exchange, between all parties.  As you build your network over time, actively seek out the right people to connect and build mutually beneficial relations with. Always strive to surprise them, with your generosity, willingness to help and try to exceed their expectations wherever possible. Make a habit of assisting people in your network with new business contacts or leads, with absolutely no expectation of any reciprocation from them at all.

Get People to Know, Like and Trust you

As you work to remain in a modality of “how can I help you help”, rather than “what can I get from you”, you will start building trust, establish good relationships and meaningful friendships with the right people, who will assist you in the future. View people that you invite into your network as friends and partners, people that can depend on you and that you in return can depend on too.

Strive to make everyone in your Networks Lives Better

Look for ways to help as many people in your network to improve their lives and businesses, without any obvious ulterior motives or expectation of them reciprocating and you will become a trusted and integral part of the network. When you are constantly giving without any expectation of getting anything in return, everyone in your network will spontaneously want to assist you without feeling obliged or pressurized to do so.

The Law of Reciprocity

When you operate from the stand point of always working to help as many people as possible, in your network to succeed, by freely offering good and useful advice, leads and referrals, or by consistently adding value to everyone in your network, you will be viewed as a really valuable contact and people will develop a deep rooted desire to reciprocate and help you in return.

Always Say Thank You

When someone helps you in any way, always send a thank you note or gift. This is an opportunity to once again exceed expectations and show that you really care and appreciate the help you have received. Instead of simply sending an email response, hand-write a letter and hand deliver it to the person or send an appropriate gift that shows your appreciation.

Always Strive to be of Service

Always look for ways to do kind acts for people and strive to do positive things, which will add real value to everyone in your network. Send birthday cards or clippings from newspapers about subjects that you think will be of interest to them and show real interest in the wellbeing of everyone. Always keep your promises and follow up on any commitments that you make and always do what you say you will do. Do everything possible to put in as much as possible into building these really important relationships and you can know with confidence that you will ultimately get far more out. You always reap what you sow.

You must Give First

The most powerful, influential and successful people in life, always look for as many ways as possible to add real value, to the lives of others. Develop the habit of always asking people how you can assist them. Always look for ways to put as much as possible into any relationship and you will end up getting far more benefit from that relationship.

Strive to always be open and emphatic and try to be sensitive to the needs and concerns of everyone you touch and you will become far more influential in a really positive way.  Work to influence others with the impact of your personality and generosity and you will open yourself up to accomplish so much more. This will also help you to accelerate the pace at which you will invite the level of success you desire into your experience.
